"And He said to them, 'Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.'" - Luke 12:15
We are not any more important to God with the things we have than with the things we do not have. We should acquire things - possessions - so that they can be used for the kingdom and not for our own selfish intents and purposes. We are to use what He blesses us with for His glory! It is all part of kingdom living!
