This is something the world has forgotten and simply walked away from today. You don't hear much preaching today on holiness or righteousness. Maybe on faithfulness but then that's usually about God and His faithfulness to us. God is all these things and He has called us to be holy, faithful and righteous just as He is.

"Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord." - Hebrews 12:14

"... Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life." - Revelation 2:10

"But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness..." - I Timothy 6:11
